Sunnys pH minus is a fast acting, quick dissolving product that will quickly and effectively decrease the pH in your hot tub water. pH is a measure of the acidity of the water. pH should be maintained at 7.2 to 7.6 for optimal sanitizer effectiveness, protection of hot tub parts and equipment, and user comfort. If the pH drops below 7.2 the water is too acidic. This can corrode the spas parts and equipment and cause eye and skin irritation. If the pH is above 7.6 the water is too base or alkaline. The sanitizer will lose some effectiveness, and minerals can fall out of solution which can cause cloudy water, scale build up (the feeling of sand paper on the spa shell) and equipment damage. Maintaining the proper pH level in your hot tub is important to maintain a safe, clean and healthy spa.  pH minus is compatible with chlorine, bromine, biguanide, silver-mineral, and ozone-treated hot tubs.

Directions for Use:

• First and foremost, PH minus should not be introduced until after a water test is complete. 
• Adding 1 oz of product with decrease PH levels by about 1.0 ppm in 500 Gallons
• Always add directly to water, while water is circulating

Dosage:

• If a test kit reading indicates that the pH is greater than 7.6, sprinkle, 2 1/4 teaspoons of pH minus directly into the spa water for 500 gallons of water. If you are adjusting the pH with some frequency, test the total alkalinity and make any necessary adjustments.
