Poolife Intensive Stain Prevention

Dosage

Initial Dose:

16 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of water.

Preventative Maintenance:

4 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of water per week.

Metal Treatment:

32 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of pool water.

Directions

When pool is initially filled, Poolife Intensive Stain Prevention should always be added because fresh water usually contain stain and scale producing minerals such as:

• copper
• iron
• manganese

For best results, add the required amount of Poolife Intensive Stain Prevention at the time you start to fill the pool, not after the pool is filled. After Poolife Intensive Stain Prevention has been added and the pool filled, filter and circulate the water at least overnight before adding chlorine or other pool chemicals to allow it to react with and prevent precipitation of mineral in fresh water. It is best to add poolife intensive stain prevention at dusk. Do not use this product within 8 hours of the addition of shock products.

Initial Treatment:

• Add 16 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of water to normal hardness and mineral content.
• If the water hardness is over 200 ppm or has high iron copper or manganese content (over 0.1 ppm) double the intial dosage.

Preventative Maintenance:

• For preventative maintenance, add 4 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of pool water once a week during the swimming season, regardless of make-up water, to take care of top up water.

Metal Treatment:

• When metals are detected in your pool water, add 32 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of water. Continue wiht a preventative maintenance dosage throughout the swimming season.
