Poolife Defend Plus Algaecide

Description

Poolife Defend+ not only treats and helps prevent green, black, and yellow algae but also clarifies pool water.
This non-foaming algaecide can be used in pools with attached water features and hot tubs,
making it ideal for modern backyard pool systems.

Dosage

Initial Treatment – Clean Pools

• 8–12 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of water.

Initial Treatment – Pools With Algae

• 16–24 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of water.

Black Algae Control

• 16 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of water.

Maintenance Dose

• 4–8 fl oz per 10,000 gallons weekly.

Directions

• Shake well before using.
• For clean pool water, use 8–12 fl oz per 10,000 gallons.
• For visible algae, use 16–24 fl oz per 10,000 gallons and remove dead algae by vacuuming.
• For black algae, apply 16 fl oz per 10,000 gallons when algae first appears. Brush daily and vacuum settled algae.
• For maintenance, use 4–8 fl oz per 10,000 gallons weekly.

Method of Application

• Never mix concentrated product with other concentrated pool chemicals.
• When properly diluted, Poolife Defend+ is compatible with chemicals normally used to treat pools.
• Apply directly to pool water with circulation system running.
• Allow at least one hour for distribution before turning off pump.
• Repeat treatment until algae control is evident.
