Poolife Clean Shock

Description

Poolife Clean Shock is a multi-purpose shock and sanitizer that protects against chlorine loss. Using this product will help to control the growth of algae,
kill bacteria, and destroy organic material in your water. There is no need to pre-dissolve this shock as it is fast dissolving.

Routine Chlorination, Maintenance, and Dosage

• Add recommended dosage during evening hours while the filter pump is running.
• Broadcast evenly over pool surface; if a deep end is applicable, add to the deepest section of the pool.
• If granules settle to the bottom, use a brush to disperse.
• As a preventative treatment, shock treat weekly to burn out organic material and keep water sparkling clear.
• Dosage: 1 pound of product per 10,000 gallons.

Super Chlorination / Shocking Treatment

For best results, follow Water Balancing and application guidance before treatment. Every 7 days, or as necessary to prevent pool problems,
shock treat/superchlorinate by adding one or two bags per 13,000 gallons of water to provide a dose of 5–10 ppm free available chlorine.
Use entire contents of bag when opened.

Directions for Use

• Do not add product to floaters or feeders.
• Always add product directly to pool water.
• Do not allow product to contact other water treatment products.
• Do not premix this product.
• For best results do not allow this product to get wet before use.
• Do not allow this product to mix directly with any other water balancing or sanitizer products.

Water Balancing

Maintain pH from 7.2 to 7.6, total alkalinity from 80 to 120 ppm, and calcium hardness above 200 ppm
for optimum performance, swimmer comfort, and crystal-clear water. Test frequently and adjust as needed.

Opening Your Pool

Follow the Water Balancing section first. Allow 30 minutes for product to disperse.
Re-test using a suitable test kit for a free chlorine residual between 1–4 ppm (closer to 4 ppm for opening).

Winterizing

Add one bag of this product per 5,000 gallons of water that is clear and clean.
