Poolife Backwash Filter Cleaner is designed to chemically break down oil and mineral buildup inside your sand filter.
Use every time your filter is backwashed to help maintain peak performance and crystal-clear water.
Dosage
- Use 8 fl oz per cleaning.
Directions
- Shake well before using.
- Compatible with bromine, chlorine, salt water, ozone, mineral, and biguanide systems.
- Close the main drain if possible to allow maximum intake for skimmer(s).
- Start the filter backwashing as recommended by the manufacturer.
- While backwashing, slowly pour 8 ounces of product into the skimmer.
- Continue backwashing according to manufacturer instructions.
- For extra deep cleaning, allow product to sit in the filter for a few hours by turning off the system after addition.
- Use for pool closing to refresh filter sand before winter months.
