Directions

• It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
• Do not use FROG® Algae Gone with any other copper-based products.
• Backwash or clean the filter and remove all debris from the skimmer and pump baskets.
• Ensure the filtration system is working properly and that water is circulating adequately.
• Balance pool water prior to application:
  • pH: 7.2–7.8
  • Total Alkalinity: 80–120 ppm
  • Cyanuric Acid: 20–80 ppm
• Have pool water tested by a professional for existing metal content, including copper.
• If copper or other metals are elevated, follow professional recommendations to reduce metal levels before using this product.
• Wear protective gloves, protective clothing, and eye/face protection before handling the product.
• Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Avoid breathing dust or mist and avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing.

Apply FROG® Algae Gone according to label dosage instructions based on pool size and severity of algae.

1. Distribute the product evenly into the pool water with the pump running.
2. Run the pump and filter continuously for at least 24 hours to ensure proper circulation and distribution.
3. Brush pool surfaces as needed to loosen algae and improve treatment effectiveness.
4. Maintain normal chlorine or other approved sanitizer levels during use.
5. After algae has been eliminated, vacuum dead algae and clean the filter as necessary.
6. Backwash the filter only if pressure rises 10 PSI or more.
7. Wash hands, face, and any exposed skin thoroughly after handling. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
