Frog 90-Day Algae Barrier

Description

Frog 90-Day Algae Barrier is a copper-based algaecide that prevents black, green, and yellow algae in swimming pools while significantly improving the clarity of pool water and filter efficiency. This product provides up to 90 days of algae prevention and is compatible with chlorine, bromine, salt generators, UV, or ozone with no effect. It also uniquely contains 4 distinct stain inhibitors to protect pool surfaces.

The 90-Day Algae Barrier is prefilled for no mess, no guess, and no stress—simply drop it into the skimmer basket. It comes with a 90-day algae protection guarantee when used in accordance with directions.

Directions

1. Backwash or clean the filter and remove all debris from skimmer and pump basket.
2. Ensure the filtration system is working properly and water is circulating adequately.
3. Balance pool water: pH 7.2–7.8, Total Alkalinity 80–120 ppm, Cyanuric Acid 20–80 ppm.
4. Have water tested by a professional for high metal content.
5. If copper levels are under 0.2 ppm, it is okay to use FROG 90-Day Algaecide.
6. If copper is above 0.2 ppm or other metals are high, follow recommendations to reduce them before using this product.
7. Before adding this product, insert the required number of FROG 90-Day Algae Barrier pods into the skimmer basket according to the pool sizing chart below.
8. Run the pump and filter continuously for 24 hours to ensure proper distribution.
9. Maintain normal chlorine or other disinfectant levels during use.
10. After 90 days or when the pod is empty, discard and replace with a new pod.
11. Do not remove pods for at least 2 weeks after adding.
12. Backwash the filter only if pressure rises 10 PSI or more.

Pool Sizing Chart for FROG 90-Day Algae Barrier:

• 5,000 – 10,000 gallons: 1 pod
• 10,000 – 20,000 gallons: 2 pods
• 20,000 – 30,000 gallons: 3 pods

Always operate the filtration system at least 8 hours per day for continued algae prevention.
