What the Top Plate Does
- Supports the vertical uprights of the pool wall
- Locks the top rail or top track in place
- Provides the anchor point where the upright bolts to the vertical which connects to the top track
- Helps keep the pool wall round and properly spaced during installation
Without this part the top tracks cannot hold the wall in position.
