The FROG 90-Day GoodBye Phos is a fast acting dual purpose phosphate remover that will protect your pool for up to a month from phosphate buildups while also improving filtration. Algae feeds on phosphates, which can enter the pool in many ways such as source water, ground runoff, fertilizers, animals, and weather conditions. This simple to use product is in a pre-filled bag, that you simply drop into skimmer baskets. Use this product to prevent phosphate buildups that can cause algae to wreak havoc on pools.

Dosage

Use 1 pod per month in any pool ranging from 7,500 to 30,000 gallons of pool water.

Directions

Make sure all pool equipment is working properly, including pump, filter, skimmer and heater. If recently used Frog Algae Gone or Frog Algae Barrier, wait 2 weeks before using Frog 90-Day Goodbye Phos.

• Backwash or clean filter according to manufacturer’s instructions.
• Insert 1 Frog 90-Day Goodbye Phos pod directly to the skimmer basket. Run pump for 24 hours after adding product.
• Remove empty pod and discard in trash or offer for recycling available.
• Use a new pod every month to keep phosphates from building up.
• Note: If high levels of phosphates are present when you first use this product, your pool may become cloudy; particulates may drop to the bottom of the pool, and should be vacuumed out. Continue to run your pump for 72 hours and backwash or clean the filter if the pressure increases 8-10 psi.

Once pool water is clear, to maintain sparkling water, we recommend using Frog 90-Day Goodbye Cloudy (a pool clarifier) to help give your pool that extra sparkle.
